There are no great things, only small things with great love. Happy are those.

For a lot of years now I have been a huge fan of Mother Teresa.

I was trying to find a certain quote from her tonight, and I came across these:

Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat. Mother Teresa

Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. Mother Teresa

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls. Mother Teresa

There should be less talk; a preaching point is not a meeting point. What do you do then? Take a broom and clean someone's house. That says enough. Mother Teresa

I love it. It reminds me of that conference talk in 2008 where they told us to don't ask someone if we can do something for them, just do it.

There is too much talking these days. We need silence "to be able to touch our souls." I love that. That is how I found God. In the trees, and stars, and those times I felt a great silence and simply thought.
