okay... cheesy... but I like that alliteration too

Anyway. I'm still trying to figure out photoshop, so I put this collage together to see if this sizing works a little better. 

That gelato and pizza is looking REALLL good right now. Nom Nom Nom.

A Family Visit

Back in April some of my family came to visit us in DC. I found these pictures on my computer yesterday and had fun re-living some of the things we had done together while they were here. It makes me wish they'd come back... STAT!

I can't believe how much my family has changed in just this short period of time. Jen and Daniel now live in Chicago where she's going to PA school. And Drew lives in Boston serving a mission for our church. It's fun to watch all of my siblings grow up! I wonder what Dave and I will be doing when we grow up!?

FYI: I am so sad, I spent all afternoon making this collage on Photoshop only to find out that the max pixel height in blogger is 1600... this was 3600. So blogger automatically shrank it and I can't figure out how to re-size it without re-doing the whole thing. At least next time I'll know!

Happy Valentines Day from the Lemke's

Not the best picture, but we were fat and happy after our delectably fattening and high calorie Valentines meal at Maggiano's. Maybe that's not a good excuse though because the pictures beforehand weren't that great either :) Well, Dave looks/ed okay. 

Also, please forgive my header right now. I gave my sister Tara some free-reign on the blog so that she could put the chevron background on it for me... and I was talking to her as she drew the header in about 20 second... no wonder she was giggling... Anyway, if I ever learn photoshop maybe I'll change it!

Lettuce Wraps

I recently found a yummy recipe for lettuce wraps from Our Best Bites. Pretty much all the good recipes I make lately are from those ladies.

The recipe makes a lot of filling which makes for great leftovers the WHOLE WEEK after you make it! Believe me, I would know. I had this for lunch every single day last week. The first two days I had it as a real lettuce wrap. Once all my lettuce wilted{only takes 2 days in my fridge} I put it on the microwaveable Asian noodle bowls from the freezer section at Costco. Yum! I think I had it that way 3 times last week. And now the thought of one makes me want to barf a little.

Guitar Man

 I keep finding this guy in my apartment playing his guitar.

And he's pretty cute, so I think I'll let him stay :}

Dreaming of Better Days to Come

School is ALMOST out for the semester. hip. Hip. HIP. Hooray!!!

 I just have one final left! This semester has been pretty rough. I think in all my 19 years of schooling, this has been the hardest semester yet and I'm not really sure why. But I am sure that I'm happy it's almost over!!

This is me before Dave's work Christmas party dreaming of better days to come. 

Now if only I could get myself to take this last final already!
